Healthcare Nursing, Clinical Nurse Specialist
Millions of people live with Atrial Fibrillation (Afib), a chronic condition that is often debilitating and under-treated. Access to timely, specialized care from electrophysiologists (EPs) remains a persistent challenge in many communities. Current Clinic is pioneering a new model, establishing a network of specialized, EP-focused ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) to expand capacity and bring life‑changing treatment closer to home.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support this mission. In this role, you will join a team of ambitious leaders who believe in a hands‑on, collaborative approach to getting things done, even if it's outside our traditional roles. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by shaping the health care delivery of a mission‑driven healthcare organization, helping expand access to life‑changing cardiac care, and collaborating with a dynamic team to drive innovation and clinical excellence.
WhatWe’re Looking For
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner with an active, unrestricted New Mexico state license
- Experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiovascular care, or a related specialty strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to high‑quality, patient‑centered care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving environment where roles may flex and collaboration is essential
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients, collaborate with physicians, and work cross‑functionally with clinical and operational teams
- Comfort operating in a growth‑stage organization, including contributing to process development and continuous improvement
- Alignment with Current Clinic’s mission to expand access to specialized Afib care and improve patient outcomes
- Experience working in ambulatory surgery centers
- Expertise in arrhythmia conditions
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a mission‑driven, fast‑paced environment
