- Provide high-quality PACU nursing care to post-anesthesia patients on-site in AZ.
- Monitor patient vitals and recovery status, document progress accurately.
- Strictly follow infection control and safety protocols in PACU.
- Escalate and manage post-anesthesia complications with clinical judgment.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate safe perioperative transitions.
- Maintain accurate documentation for billing, QA, and regulatory audits.
- Educate patients and families about recovery milestones and discharge plans.
- Utilize performance metrics and pipelines to track efficiency and outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and credential maintenance.
- Demonstrate accountability for individual results while contributing to team targets.
- Assist in preoperative assessments when needed and ensure readiness of PACU.
- Current RN license with valid AZ ACLS and PACU certification.
- PACU nursing experience in perioperative or post-anesthesia care.
- Strong infection control adherence and safety protocol compliance.
- Proficiency in monitoring vitals, recovery status, and documenting progress.
- Ability to escalate complications with sound clinical judgment.
