Travel Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Days, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, floating and call required.
Job Description
The Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a general medical-surgical inpatient unit. The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with patient education on various health topics.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
- Fingerprint clearance required for all travelers in New Mexico.
