Travel Nurse - RN - Medical Surgical

Role

The Med Surg RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units, assessing patient conditions, monitoring cardiac data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Explain procedures, administer medications, conduct assessments, prepare patients for diagnostics, maintain a safe environment, document care, coordinate discharge plans, and follow safety and infection control protocols.

Requires at least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS. Must possess critical thinking, strong communication, physical and technical abilities, and the capacity to work effectively with diverse personnel and handle multiple patients.

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to follow instructions, physical stamina, adaptability under pressure, visual acuity, and effective communication.
