American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience, BLS certification, and a NM or compact RN license.

• General Medical-Surgical inpatient nursing unit with occasional non-critical pediatric patients
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Floating required
• Census-based on-call flexing may occur prior to scheduled shift start if census is low
• Uses Med Host EMR
• Scrubs of any color permitted

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Active driver's license and US SSN required for consideration
• Fingerprinting required for all NM travelers

• Perform general Med/Surg nursing duties including care for occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the floor
• Blocked scheduling requests may be accommodated if specified at time of consideration
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Local candidates not accepted; 50-mile radius rule applies
• Candidates who worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered for this travel position
