American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week day-shift travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and an active NM or compact RN license.

• General Medical-Surgical inpatient nursing unit with occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the floor
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract length
• Floating required
• No standard on-call schedule, though census-based call prior to shift start may apply when patient census is low
• Uses Med Host EMR

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico travelers
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Active driver's license required for consideration
• US Social Security Number required;
  Canadian SIN not accepted

• Provide general Med/Surg nursing care including management of occasional non-critical pediatric patients
• Scrubs of any color are permitted
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• Requests for time off must be less than one week in duration
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
