Travel Med/Surg RN - Contract Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM. Floating and call required.

The Travel Med/Surg RN will provide general medical-surgical nursing care in an inpatient setting. The role involves caring for a patient population with a typical ratio of 1:6. Some pediatric patients may also be part of the workload.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general med-surg nursing duties.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Occasionally assist with non-critical pediatric patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have at least 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Must be a licensed RN in the state of New Mexico; fingerprinting required for all travelers.
