Emergency Room RN - Travel Nurse

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule:

Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; floating required.

Job Description:

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department. This role involves utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The RN will demonstrate critical thinking skills and lead patient care initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and effectively communicate findings.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2+ years of experience in Emergency Nursing.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of New Mexico.
