Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
Days, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with floating and call required.
We are seeking an experienced Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position involves general medical-surgical nursing duties, including the care of non-critical pediatric patients, as well as responding to varying census demands.
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
Monitor patient progress and document care activities using Med Host EMR.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy as prescribed.
Assess and manage patient needs and contribute to care planning.
Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
Fingerprinting for New Mexico travelers required; agency must be registered with the state.
