Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Travel)

Carlsbad, New Mexico

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite | Floating and census flex on-call may be required

• Provide general Medical-Surgical inpatient nursing care with a patient ratio of 1:6
• Care for occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the Med-Surg floor
• Utilize Med Host EMR system for documentation and patient management
• Participate in census flex on-call prior to the start of a scheduled shift when census is low
• Float as required within the unit or facility

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must be able to complete New Mexico state fingerprinting requirements (agency must be registered with the state of New Mexico)

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Experience with Med Host EMR

• Opportunity to work in a supportive inpatient Med-Surg environment with a defined 13-week travel assignment and a projected start date of September 2026
