Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in Carlsbad. This 13-week assignment is available immediately, offering night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The role involves providing critical care to patients in a Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department, with floating within the nurses scope, including possible assignments in ICU. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong assessment skills, medication administration proficiency, and knowledge of safety standards, with at least 2 years of ER experience.

  Nights, 6:30 PM 7:00 AM; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  
  2+ years of experience in emergency nursing, valid ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications; NRP preferred; ability to work in the Emergency Department and adapt to floating assignments within the scope and experience of the nurse; location requirements as per state regulations; valid licensure and clinical competency in emergency nursing
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience working in a Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department; familiarity with Med Host (EDIS) electronic medical record system
• Additional Information:
  Fingerprints for all travel personnel are required by the state; specified blackout dates include 1 Summer and 1 Winter, based on departmental needs; maximum of 1 RTO request per schedule with a 6-week scheduling window; no blocked scheduling or 48-hour guarantees; scrub color is not specified and full uniform required; emphasis on critical thinking, scientific judgment, leadership, and continuous education in emergency nursing
