Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This position provides total patient care in an ICU setting, including managing ventilators and titratable infusions, as well as delivering patient hygiene care. Candidates must have their license available on the first day of employment.

Nights, 6:30p-6:30a; 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- 2+ years ICU experience
- Emergency Room (ER) experience
- Med-Surg (Medical-Surgical) experience
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Experience with ventilators
- Experience with titratable drips
- Experience mixing medications
- Experience with patient hygiene care
- ICU assignment is total patient care, including ventilators, titratable drips, and hygiene care
- No call required
- Floating to Emergency Room (ER) and Med-Surg (Medical-Surgical) departments is required
- During floating to ER, the nurse may assist with call lights, medication administration, patient transport, starting intravenous (IV) lines, and blood draws
- During floating to Med-Surg, the nurse may be assigned a full patient assignment or may act as an aide (as determined by unit needs)
- Holidays are required
- Blocked scheduling may be accommodated; details must be included in the body of the submission
- Fingerprints are required for all New Mexico travelers, and the agency must be registered with the state of New Mexico (the process may take several weeks)
