The NDT Assistant will assist NDT Technicians in performing specific calibrations, specific nondestructive tests, and specific evaluation for acceptance or rejection determinations.
- Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
- Assist NDT Technicians in the calibration of NDT equipment.
- Assist NDT Technicians conduct test to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
- Record results of inspections.
- Assist Technicians in performing NDT procedures and other operations.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
