We're seeking an Environmental Field Specialis
t to support vegetation surveys, ecological assessments, habitat evaluations, and oil & gas remediation projects throughout the Permian Basi
n and surrounding areas
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Botany, Ecology, Environmental Science, Rangeland Management
- 2–5 years of experience with vegetation surveys, ecological assessments, habitat monitoring, or environmental remediation
- Strong plant identification skills, particularly in arid and semi-arid ecosystems
- Experience with GPS/GIS data collection and proficiency in ArcGIS Pro or QGIS
- Ability to prepare technical reports, maps, and regulatory documentation
- Comfortable working independently in remote field environments
- Experience with BLM, NEPA, NMSLO, or oil & gas remediation project
- Knowledge of rangeland monitoring protocols and habitat restoration
