Technician, Measurement Automation (Carlsbad, NM)

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is a leading North American provider of midstream energy services, including natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals transportation, processing, and storage.

• Install measurement, communication and SCADA equipment.
• Program, configure, and commission Liquid and Gas Flow computers, RTUs, and controls equipment.
• Use computer laptop and applications software for equipment operation.
• Install Gas, Liquid, and NGL measurement equipment.
• Repair and replace communication equipment.
• Diagnose and repair analytical equipment.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Pipeline Operations; work with Liquids and Gas Control Centers.

• Vocational-Technical certificate or Associate’s degree in electronics or related field preferred.
• Experience with basic computer use, word processing, spreadsheets, email, and configuring Liquid and Gas measurement software applications required.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance of Measurement, Communications and SCADA equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform tasks outdoors in varying weather, including extreme heat, cold, wind, precipitation, variable heights, and unstable terrain.
• Understanding of operation and repair of applicable mechanical and technical equipment or systems.
• Team player with effective communication skills with co-workers, customers, and public.
• Accountable, self-driven learner, continuously improving skills.
• Daily travel to various locations; occasional overnight travel required.
