Carlsbad - Welder Position

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques, tools, and machinery, ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Set up welding machines and select appropriate materials for the project.
• Perform welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding on various metal components.
• Inspect and measure welded work pieces to ensure specifications are met.
• Repair and maintain welding equipment and tools as needed.
• Follow all established safety procedures and utilize protective equipment.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or construction setting.
• Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle equipment and materials safely.
• Commitment to adhering to all health and safety regulations and procedures.

• Completion of a recognized welding certification or vocational program.
• Experience with CNC equipment and/or automated welding systems.
• Knowledge of various metals and their welding properties.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Technical competency with welding tools and machinery.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Dedication to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
