Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. In this role you will support and oversee repair work for Walmart’s facilities Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand, digital, power tools and other equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines by following Walmart’s Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move on ladders, and work comfortably at heights.

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 8 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and an AAS in A/C and Refrigeration.
• Completion of a 2‑year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or 2‑year associate’s of applied science in A/C and refrigeration.
• Excellent driving record.
• Prior experience with glycol and CO₂ systems.

• Hourly wage range of $26.00 - $51.00.
• Eligible for bonus incentive.
• Individual compensation packages are based on factors such as skill set, experience, and qualifications.
• Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances.
