Maintenance Journeyman Electrician

Overview

Design Solutions and Integration (DSI) is an employee‑owned company providing automation, electrical, and mechanical services to major energy partners such as Diamondback Energy, Exxon Mobil, Conoco Phillips, and Chevron. This position is located in Loving, NM, within the Permian Basin oil fields and involves installing VFDs and other 120/240 V and 480 V electrical equipment.

• Install VFDs and other 120/240V and 480V electrical equipment in oil-field environments.
• Configure and wire various brands of AC/DC controllers and VFDs.
• Use electrical schematics to design, bend, and fill conduit to proper code specifications.
• Work outdoors under variable conditions.
• Follow safety and quality standards, supporting a drug‑free workplace.
• 5 days on, 2 days off, with on‑call rotation every third week.

• Maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Team oriented and possess a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Texas apprentice license.
• At least 3 years of experience in oil and gas.
• Self‑motivated, assertive, dependable individuals.
