Rod Pump Technician

BP Supply Inc is seeking a hands-on Rod Pump Technician to install, service, and repair rod pump systems for industrial customers. In this field-based role, you'll inspect equipment, diagnose issues, perform mechanical repairs, and ensure safe, reliable operation. You'll read technical documentation, use standard tools and lifting equipment, and keep accurate service records. Working closely with our customer-focused team, you'll support loyal clients, provide basic product guidance, and help maintain strong, long-term relationships as you grow your skills and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair rod pump systems at customer sites
• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues and perform corrective maintenance
• Inspect, test, and calibrate rod pump components for safe, reliable operation
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and work orders
• Operate hand and power tools, lifting equipment, and measuring devices safely
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and job documentation
• Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure parts availability
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies
• Provide basic technical support and product guidance to customers on-site
