Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, LLC (SIMCO) seeks a qualified Surface Electrician for our Carlsbad, NM location at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP). This USW bargaining unit role requires membership and adherence to the collective bargaining agreement.
The successful candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems up to 13,800 volts, meet training requirements, and pass safety and respirator qualifications. Mining electrical experience is preferred.
