Field Welders
- Traveling Construction Sites
- Per Diem - NM, WY, UT
Great Basin Industrial is hiring Field Welders to join their traveling construction team, working on industrial projects across the United States. These welders will perform high-quality welding on above ground storage tanks, structural steel, and piping at various project sites. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, dependable, and experienced in industrial construction environments. Extensive travel and adaptability to varying project schedules are required.

- Minimum of 2 years of field welding experience in industrial construction, structural steel, or storage tank construction
- Proficiency with SMAW (Stick) welding; additional welding processes as required
- Ability to pass applicable welding tests and certifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively for project assignments
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to pass pre-employment and client-required screenings, including drug testing
- Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds, work at heights, in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Experience welding above ground storage tanks
- Experience with structural steel erection or industrial piping
- Current AWS or other applicable welding certifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction certification
- NCCER credentials
- Experience operating aerial lifts, forklifts, or other construction equipment
- Ability to perform basic layout, fitting, and fabrication tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
