This position provides Automation and Instrumentation & Electrical support to Southeast New Mexico oil and gas operations.

• Work as part of a team to maintain and install Automation and I&E equipment, including PLC components, wired and wireless transmitters, communications equipment, and HMIs.
• Use SCADA systems to monitor operations.
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures on required equipment.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned.

• Ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs, ABB Total flows, Fisher ROCs, transmitters, and related automation equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits and components.
• Knowledge of communications equipment, including Free Wave, Xeta Wave, Red Lion, ABB, Cambium, and fiber-optic systems.
• Understanding of oil and gas production equipment and operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• Safety-conscious, team-oriented self-starter who works well with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced facility and Automation/I&E personnel.
• Ability to become certified to work at heights using appropriate fall protection.
• Ability to work in extreme outdoor temperatures.
• Once adequately trained, availability to participate in a callout rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability to work late as needed.

Agency truck provided. The business line will provide tools.
