Carlsbad- Pipeline Lead Hand

Responsible for assisting the Pipeline Foreman with daily field operations and directing crew members toensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

• Direct and assist pipelinelaborers, operators, and other crew members.
• Help coordinate dailymanpower, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure crews follow company safety policies and job-site procedures.
• Assist with pipelineconstruction, ditching, stringing, welding, lowering-in, back filling, and cleanup activities.
• Operate heavy equipment andassist with equipment and job-site needs as required.
• Monitor crew productivity and communicate progress or issues to the Foreman.
• Assist with daily safety meetings and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Help identify and resolvefield problems before they affect production.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and available for the crew.
• Work closely with the Foreman, operators, welders, and other pipeline personnel to keep the jobmoving safely and efficiently.
• Lead by example and promotea positive, team-oriented work environment.
