Parts Runner

The Parts Runner is responsible forassistingwiththe shipping and receiving of parts, running parts between different buildings and stocking and tracking inventory.

This role ensures that parts are efficiently and accurately distributed and managed within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the shipping and receiving process, including verifying incoming shipments,unpacking and organizing parts.
• Deliver parts to various buildings and departments within the company promptly and efficiently.
• Maintainaccuraterecords of inventory levels and product movements and update inventory tracking systems.
• Stock parts in designated locations andensure shelves are organized and labeled correctly.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to the Parts Manager.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill parts requests and ensuretimelydelivery.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the parts area clean and organized.
• Prepare andmaintainshipping documents and other required paperwork.
• Receiving parts, including placing them into inventory and properly labeling them.
• Know andcomply withall safety policies, standards, and procedures that apply to your job.
• Errand running and procurement pickup as needed.
• Activelyparticipatein all required training and safety meetings.
• Use the correct tools and use them safely.
• Immediately report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a parts department is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Proven experience in shippingandreceiving.
• Proficiencyinusing shipping and inventory management software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mathematical skills to help managethe inventory, pricing, and estimates.
• Problem-solving skills to deal with parts inventory issues.
• Product knowledge tocorrectlyidentifyparts and recommend needed parts.
• Time management skills with the ability to work alone.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Must treat everyone equally with respect and dignity.
• Possessor able to obtain forklift certification andoperateforklift safely in various conditions in and out of warehouse.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to work legally in the US.
• Pass a drug screening.
