Project Manager (Commercial Construction Exp Required)
Type: Permanent
Location: Bergen County, NJ, 100% on-site
Salary: up to $165,000 depending on experience
Responsibilities- Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets.
- Supervise construction superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Manage the permitting process.
- Lead all aspects of project scheduling.
- Review and approve AIA billing based on percentage of work completed.
- Analyze contracts and prepare scopes of work for all trade categories.
- Collaborate closely with prospective tenants and clients.
- Evaluate work progress for individual trades, including concrete/masonry and structural steel.
- Provide clear and consistent project updates to organizational leadership and ownership.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent field.
- 7 or more years of experience as a Project Manager in construction.
- Strong background in civil engineering.
- Experience working with precast wall systems and structural steel.
- Ability to level bids and prepare submittals for A&E teams.
- Skilled in developing trade‑specific scopes of work.
- Hands‑on experience with concrete footings and foundation systems.
- Extensive proficiency with Microsoft Project and Procore.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
