Our client’s organization is a retail store that specializes in fast fashion apparel inspired by contemporary trends in young fashion. Founded in 1996. The company has grown to operate approximately 25 stores across several states, including New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Virginia, Maryland, and Connecticut. AAO initially focused on hip hop fashion but has since expanded its product range to include a diverse assortment of streetwear, urban clothing, and accessories, appealing to a wide customer base.

Our client’s organization is searching for a Store Display Specialist for an Urban Fashion Retail Chain Business. Our client is seeking a Korean/American bilingual candidate with Urban Fashion or General Fashion Retail Display or Visual Merchandising Work or Education Background who possesses a proactive attitude, and retail-store visual merchandising and great interpersonal skills to join and grow with their small but dynamic corporate team, and about 200 employees at the retail shop locations.

In this role, you will not only support the corporate office’s Buying Department's strategic initiatives in Retail Store Visual Merchandising but also gain in-depth experience, knowledge, and insights into the Urban Fashion industry’s retail operation.

• Visual Strategy:
  Design and execute window displays and in-store merchandising to drive sales.
• Floor Planning:
  Strategic layout optimization based on product flow and customer behavior.
• Mannequin Styling:
  Directing outfit coordination to reflect current streetwear trends.
• Monitor Fashion and Industry Trends:
  Actively look at competitors’ stores and bring information/display trends & better performance methodology /findings to the team.
• Asset Management:
  Overseeing all in-store signage, graphics, and VMD props/fixtures.
• Staff Training:
  Coaching store staff on maintaining visual standards and "Look & Feel."
• Ensure Sales Performance:
  Effective methodology application for the selling floor’s product/merchandise and information display that affects the sales performance
• Monitor & Report visual merchandise’s movement based on how it is being perceived by the customers by communicating with Buyers, Logistics, and Brand Partners.
• Execute weekly reports diligently, analyze visual display performance and category to identify business opportunities and challenges.

• Recent Graduate of a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Visual Merchandising or Marketing, or a related field in Urban Fashion, with an educational background preferred.
• Entry level or + years of experience in Fashion Display or Visual Merchandising (Streetwear or Multi-brand retail preferred).
• Strong communication skills, well-written, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• You take ownership, initiative, and Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• A strong sense of visualization of merchandise styles and current fashion trends is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with staff, team, and management on projects.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
