Logistics Transportation Specialist III

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage transportation strategies to ensure cost-effective and efficient freight movement.
• Oversee daily shipment schedules, carrier performance, and compliance with company policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce costs.
• Resolve escalated transportation issues, including delays, damages, and claims.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers to optimize freight spend.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Monitor and assess carrier performance, taking corrective actions as necessary.
• Analyze transportation costs, provide recommendations for cost savings, and track budget performance.
• Manage freight payment processes, ensuring accurate invoicing and billing reconciliation.
• Generate reports and provide insights on transportation trends, performance metrics, and operational improvements.
• Lead and mentor a team of logistics specialists and coordinators.
• Provide training and development to enhance team efficiency and performance.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross‑department collaboration.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Language:
  Bilingual Preferred (Korean and English)
