Shipping​/Receiving Clerk

Growing Printing company is looking to add to their Shipping and Receiving Department. Ideal candidate will have3-5 years of previous experience and able to lift up to 50lbs.

• Reads shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transportation needed.
• Contacts carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for loading products.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against invoices, orders, or other records.
• Prepare and affix shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information for cartons, skids or other storage devices in an accurate manner including any special labels that are customer required.
• Record items when orders are filled.
• Prepares all shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner.
• Receives material and verifies that incoming shipments are correct by comparing items and quantities against bill of lading, purchase order, manifest or other records.
• Maintain record of the shipment and the condition of its contents.
• Check shipment for any discrepancies in quantity, price and discounts.
• Enter receipt of material data into the ERP system in a timely manner.
• Collaborate to route or move shipments to the proper department, warehouse section or individual.

M-Fr from 8:00am-5:00pm plus overtime
