Reach Truck / Cherry Picker (Order Picker) Operator
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Shifts Available:
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
We are seeking experienced Reach Truck / Cherry Picker (Order Picker)/ Pit Operators to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have strong material handling experience, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. This position requires operating PIT equipment to move, store, and transport materials throughout the facility.
Responsibilities- Move materials to and from production lines, loading docks, trailers, and designated storage areas.
- Review daily work orders, production schedules, and shipping requests to complete assignments accurately.
- Understand load capacities and equipment limitations to ensure safe and efficient material movement.
- Secure loads, wrap pallets, and prepare materials for transportation.
- Inspect materials during handling and report damages, discrepancies, or equipment issues.
- Operate Reach Trucks, Cherry Pickers (Order Pickers), and other PIT equipment in accordance with company safety standards.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
- Update inventory records, logs, and scanner entries to maintain accurate tracking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Bilingual English and Spanish required.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating Reach Trucks and Cherry Pickers (Order Pickers).
- Experience with PIT equipment in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable using RF scanners and basic computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Reliable, dependable, and safety focused.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
