AboutThe Job
An opportunity has arisen for a Day Luggage Porter to join us at Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- To tidy the luggage area and Concierge desk as required.
- To man the Telephone main switchboard as and when required.
- To ensure all requests are the Concierge desk are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
- To assist in the Security of the hotel by reporting any suspicious persons or happenings.
- To ensure a proper handover is prepared for the morning shift.
- To deliver extra beds, turndown beds and clean rooms as requested by your line manager.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Must have UK driving license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized service to discerning guests, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.
- Familiarity with luggage handling procedures, including proper lifting techniques and care for guests belongings, to maintain the hotel s high standards of service.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and upholding the hotel s brand reputation.
