Catering Event Staff

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for various events. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As part of our event staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of events, from set-up to service and clean-up.

You could be doing kitchen work or bar work.

Responsibilities

Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging furniture and decorations.
Provide excellent guest services by greeting attendees, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are met throughout the event.
Support food preparation and service, adhering to food safety standards to guarantee a safe dining experience.
Serve food and beverages, including bartending duties when required, ensuring all guests are attended to promptly.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during events.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas throughout the event.
Assist with catering tasks as needed, ensuring all food items are presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperature.

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or related fields such as restaurant or hotel services is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous.
Bartending skills are a plus, with the ability to craft basic cocktails and serve beverages efficiently.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail in all aspects of event execution.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.

You will need to be flexible for this role as we supply different venues around Carmarthenshire. This will be an adhoc role.
