We are seeking an experienced CCTV Service & Installation Engineer to join our clients expanding team, covering South West Wales. This is a permanent role offering long-term stability, consistent weekday hours, and the opportunity to work with a well-established and respected security and fire systems provider.
Location & Travel
- Ideally based within West Wales, no further east than Swansea, no further north than Aberystwyth, and as far west as St Davids
- Must be prepared to travel throughout Wales as part of daily duties
You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and installation of a range of security systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, fire detection, and access control. You will work across a varied client base, delivering high-quality solutions and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive service visits
- Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently
- Service and maintain CCTV, intruder alarm, fire detection, and access control systems
- Install new systems to a high standard where required
- Maintain professional workmanship and customer service standards
- Work independently while being supported by a knowledgeable engineering team
- Minimum 2 years experience in CCTV servicing and/or installation
- Experience with intruder alarms (fire alarm and access control experience highly desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge of relevant standards such as BS5839, BS EN 50131 (advantageous)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Well organised, reliable, and safety conscious
- Full UK driving licence
- Monday to Friday
- Start: 08:30 (office or first job) Finish:
Leaving last site at 17:00 - Paid overtime for any time spent on site before 08:30 or after 17:00
- No weekends or bank holidays
- Competitive hourly rate: £14.50 £ 15.50, plus overtime
