We're recruiting a Level 3 qualified mechanic at Carmarthen Workshop on a permanent contract, with the potential to earn up to £45k including overtime.
Working Hours: Full time – 39.5 hours per week (excluding meal breaks). Rotating shift pattern: week 1: 06:00‑14:00, week 2: 13:25‑21:30. Mandatory one‑in‑three Saturdays 06:00‑14:25 (weekday off mandatory).

- Perform a full range of inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repair procedures on vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipment.
- Use your own personal toolkit for routine maintenance and repairs on light and heavy goods vehicles.
- Have access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in a modern, fully equipped workshop.
- Qualified mechanic: Fully qualified to an advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent). Own a personal toolkit for standard repairs.
- Varied vehicle experience: Proven Vehicle Technician experience working on a wide range of vehicles (e.g., LCV / HGV).
- Valid UK driving licence: Full manual UK driving licence, preferably an HGV licence with trailer experience.
- High working standards: Take pride in your work and ensure jobs are completed effectively.
- Flexible to service demands: Able to work on a flexible shift rota and support the team where necessary.
