Accounts Payable Specialist - Tom Wood Group

Tom Wood Group, in Indianapolis, IN is searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks with teamwork and efficiency.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm OR 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay: $18-$22/hour

• Track AP invoice approvals.
• Code and enter all AP invoices.
• Code and enter all credit card charges.
• Entry of EFT payments.
• Prepare weekly AP check run.
• Maintain all 1099 information.
• Process 1099s.
• Process American Express credit card charges and track approvals.
• Enter journal entries upon request.

• Detail oriented.
• Highly organized.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently and with others.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of accrual-based accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel is required.
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate/enter data into established databases.
• 1+ year accounting experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
