Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a client in the Carmel area to recruit a Membership Accounting Specialist for a full‑time onsite role. This position is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity.
Responsibilities Accounts Payable- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, or electronic payment methods.
- Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Assist with month‑end accounts payable reporting and record maintenance.
- Maintain organized financial records and document retention practices.
- Support audits and financial reviews by providing requested documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional and timely communication.
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain records within organizational systems.
- Process and update information in databases and software applications.
- Monitor requests and follow through to completion with a strong sense of urgency.
- Assist with daily administrative and operational functions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Support both automated and manual workflows as needed.
- Adapt to changing systems, procedures, and business needs.
Salary range: disclosed per local law requirements. Individuals may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
