We are currently searching for a direct hire Commercial Property Accountant for a Commercial Property Management client based in Carmel, IN! This is a great opporunity for an experienced Property Accountant to fast track their career growth. If you are an experienced Property Accountant looking to take the next step in their career with a great organization.
Primary Responsibilities:- Review financial statements and explain variances
- Reconcile all bank accounts associated with assigned properties on a monthly basis
- Prepares accruals or cash based journal entries as needed
- Review financials with site staff and Accounts Payable for coding reclassification
- Completes all bank reconciliations
- Responsible for all cash management at the properties
Skills and Abilities:
- BA in Accounting or related field
- 2-5 years of experience as a Property Accountant
- Experience with Yardi software preferred
