Full-Charge Bookkeeper (Contract-to-Hire) | Hybrid | Carmel, IN
Robert Half is partnering with a growing CPA firm in Carmel to identify a Full-Charge Bookkeeper for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys managing multiple client accounts and working independently.
Schedule
+ Hybrid work environment
+ In office 3 days per week
+ Remote up to 2 days per week after training
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients
+ Maintain general ledger and reconcile bank and credit card accounts
+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
+ Prepare journal entries and month-end close activities
+ Generate financial statements and reports
+ Assist with payroll processing and sales tax filings as needed
+ Communicate directly with clients regarding accounting questions and needs

Requirements
Qualifications
+ 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
+ Recent experience with Quick Books Online required
+ Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end processes
+ Experience working in a CPA firm, accounting firm, or multi-client environment preferred
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Excellent communication and client service abilities
