About the RoleWalker Hughes Insurance is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Customer Service Agent to provide administrative and operational support to our Commercial Lines service team. This role focuses on backend account maintenance, document preparation, data management, and renewal support to help ensure a seamless client experience.
Key Responsibilities Account Maintenance & Data Management- Enter and maintain client and policy information within CRM and agency management systems
- Conduct data audits to ensure account accuracy and completeness
- Organize and maintain digital client files and supporting documentation
- Prepare policy summaries, certificates of insurance, endorsements, renewal packets, and related documentation
- Process policy changes and coverage updates accurately and efficiently
- Support renewal workflows by gathering documentation and coordinating updates with carriers
- Generate reports and materials to support renewals, presentations, and internal reviews
- Ensure client files and documentation meet compliance and regulatory standards
- Maintain organized records of certificates, policy summaries, and notices
- Run reports related to policy activity, renewals, and account maintenance metrics
- Support updates and consistency across CRM and agency management systems
- Provide administrative support to Account Managers, Account Executives, and Commercial Service leadership
- Assist with follow-up tasks, special projects, and operational initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency and maintain service standards
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of administrative or insurance support experience preferred
- Familiarity with Commercial Lines insurance and agency management systems a plus
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
