OverviewThe Team Leader provides a high level of support to team members, including Account Coordinators and Account Managers. The Team Leader maintains an assigned book of business as required and serves as representative of team to Management. This role requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion.

- People management and client management are both strong skills in your toolkit.
- You are analytical at heart with strong technical skills, and pride yourself on great accuracy in your work.
- Ensures accuracy of account information for new and renewal policies and endorsements.
- Audits for accuracy in rating, typing, coverages and signatures.
- Markets both new and renewal accounts. Identifies account coverages that should be added or expanded.
- Maintains accounts and activities per Agency procedures.
- Serves as a mentor, positive role model and trainer to staff.
- Performs annual Employee Performance Appraisals for team members.
- Resolves Employee Relations issues with assistance from Human Resources.
- Attends client meeting with or without Producer as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years client service —or— High School degree/GED with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience. Appropriate licensing as required.
Preferred:
- 1+ years supervisory experience.
- Prior experience designing and implementing productivity and client service improvements.
- Keen understanding of professional and industry standards/practices.
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
