The emergency department features 23 beds with comprehensive support services available 24/7, including full surgical capabilities, catheterization lab, and advanced diagnostic services to ensure optimal patient care.

Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Must have completed an Emergency Medicine residency program

• Only ABEM board certification accepted per department and medical staff guidelines

• Handle 16-20 patient encounters per shift in a 23-bed emergency department

• Monday-Friday shift options: 6a-2p (8hr), 1p-10p (9hr), 11a-6p (7hr), 9p-6a (9hr)

• Weekend shift options: 6a-3p (9hr), 1p-11p (10hr), 9p-6a (9hr)

• Full 24-hour support services including anesthesia, cardio-thoracic surgery, catheterization lab, general surgery, laboratory, neuro-surgery, orthopedic surgery, radiology, and vascular surgery

• OR response team available 24/7

• L&D department on-site but newborn deliveries not received in ED

• Must be licensed in Indiana or hold IMLC

• Board certification required (board eligible minimum)

• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days

• Located near Indianapolis International Airport for convenient travel

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
