Carmel, Indiana Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking ABEM/AOBEM Board Certified Physicians to provide locum tenens coverage at a freestanding Emergency Medicine & Urgent Care hybrid site in the Indianapolis metro area. This location offers a unique mix of Emergency Department and Urgent Care patient volume, ideal for physicians who enjoy diversity in their clinical day.

Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO)

Start Date:

ASAP – Ongoing

Shift

Schedule:

12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Practice Model:
Solo EM Physician with APC support depending on site needs

Patient Volume:

Total: ~40 patients/day

ED: ~7.5 patients/day

Urgent Care: ~32.5 patients/day

Trauma Designation:
Freestanding ED with Urgent Care services

EMR:
Epic

Candidate Requirements

Board Certification: ABEM or AOBEM required

Certifications:

ACLS, PALS (AHA only)

Licensure:
Active & unrestricted Indiana license with DEA

Experience:

Minimum 1–3 years of Emergency Medicine practice

Credentialing:
Standard timeline (no temp privileges available)
