Instructional Designer

Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer from the Utilities and Energy industry to support a growing energy client by designing and updating engaging e-learning content and training materials. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of hands‑on experience in instructional design, with expertise in Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise
, and a strong focus on compliance and regulatory standards. This is a hybrid role based in Carmel, IN

• Update and enhance existing e‑learning modules for improved engagement and effectiveness.
• Design and develop new training materials, including interactive e‑learnings, video tutorials, in‑person training content, job aids, and infographics.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and internal teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with learning objectives.
• Apply ADDIE and L&D best practices to create high‑quality instructional content.
• Ensure all training materials meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible learning content.

• 3-4 years of experience in instructional design or content development.
• Proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise

• Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience designing compliance‑focused training materials.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

• Certifications in learning design, e‑learning development, or related fields.
