Transmission Planning Engineer II
As a Transmission Planning Engineer II, you will play a key role in supporting MISO's generation interconnection process through power system analysis studies. In this role, you'll collaborate with interconnection customers and transmission owners, contribute to process improvements, manage project work streams, and take ownership of key processes that help drive efficient and reliable grid expansion.
Within your first year as our Transmission Planning Engineer II, you will know you are successful if you:
- Administer simulations and technical analyses effectively.
- Prepare and deliver relevant communications and data to our customers.

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $87,000-$112,000 USD annually. Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. QualificationsEducation
Bachelors or better in Computer Engineering.
Bachelors or better in Electrical & Computer Engineering.
Bachelors or better in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Bachelors or better in Electrical Engineering.
Bachelors or better in Electrical Engineering Technology.
Bachelors or better in Electronics Engineering Technology.
Experience2 years:
Experience related to power system planning, operations experience, or related field.
Previous energy industry experience. Specific experience within any of the following: PSS/E, MUST, TARA, TSAT, and VSAT.
