Location: North Indianapolis, IN
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 depending on experience
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Financial Analyst with a strong background in M&A, financial modeling, and due diligence. This role will play a key part in evaluating acquisition opportunities, supporting strategic initiatives, and providing leadership with data‑driven insights. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys deep financial analysis, and brings a strong understanding of deal structures and valuation.
KeyResponsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling, valuation analyses, and scenario planning for potential acquisitions and strategic investments.
- Lead financial due diligence efforts, including reviewing financial statements, assessing quality of earnings, analyzing working capital trends, and identifying risks and opportunities.
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and recommendations for executive leadership and board review.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (legal, operations, accounting, HR) to support integration planning and post‑acquisition analysis.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor performance, and market conditions to support strategic decision‑making.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning as needed.
- Support the development and refinement of financial processes, reporting tools, and analytical frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA a plus.
- 2–5 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or financial analysis.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions).
- Experience conducting financial due diligence and analyzing complex financial statements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to senior leadership.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools; experience with data visualization software is a plus.
