Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Carmel, Indiana. In this role, you will manage key accounting functions, including month-end close processes, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a proven ability to ensure accuracy in financial operations.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee month-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly documented.

- Prepare and review journal entries to support financial reporting and compliance.

- Conduct account and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.

- Develop and analyze financial reports, providing insights to support decision-making.

- Assist in budgeting processes and monitor variances against financial plans.

- Manage intercompany accounting activities, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Acumatica to streamline accounting processes and reporting.

- Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial workflows and procedures.

- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with a focus on detail-oriented work.

- Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

- Strong skills in preparing journal entries and conducting reconciliations.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

- Familiarity with Acumatica or similar accounting software.

- Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory standards.
