Pay range: $81,000.00 - $ annually. Salary determined by experience, skills, and location. The position is bonus‑eligible.
About the RoleCNO Financial Group’s 40|86 Advisors are hiring a Sr. Investment Operations Analyst to develop and maintain controls within Investment Operations and support investment operations processes. The analyst will support mid‑level business leaders, identify process improvements, and maintain business continuity and timely reporting. The role requires regular interaction with 40|86/CNO senior leaders as well as internal and external auditors in a SOX‑audit controlled environment.
Responsibilities- Ensure SOX key controls are adhered to and design and implement new internal controls as needed.
- Work with internal and external auditors regarding investment operations controls and substantive testing.
- Interface with portfolio managers, traders, custodians, and broker‑dealers to support investment decisions.
- Perform detailed analytical and evaluative review of investment data.
- Process fixed income and option trades.
- Set up mortgage loans and process payments.
- Review and process collateral.
- Knowledge of financial and investment principles and practices.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle new, complex, and evolving tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient with MS Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Oracle BI.
- Familiarity with investment systems such as Bloomberg and WSO Markit.

This role is affiliated with the Carmel Corporate Office. Candidates must reside within a 60‑mile radius and will be required to work on‑site. Flexibility is encouraged, and travel to other corporate offices may be requested. Work cannot be performed from outside the United States.
