Core Responsibilities

The following represent the essential functions of the role and must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Assist in financial underwriting for student housing and multifamily development and acquisition opportunities, including opportunity evaluation and investment analysis.
  • Perform financial modeling and analysis, including cash flow projections, valuation modelling, and investment return analysis to support business decisions.
  • Conduct market research, due diligence, and competitive analysis for target markets and development opportunities.
  • Support management of the company’s real estate portfolio, including student housing, mixed‑use, multifamily, and other operating assets.
  • Assist with budget preparation, business planning, debt compliance monitoring, quarterly valuations, and recurring portfolio reporting.
  • Support refinance, disposition, lease, and credit tenant analyses as needed.
  • Participate in capital market activities related to real estate acquisitions and investments.
  • Build strong working relationships with development teams, asset management, senior leadership, and cross‑functional partners.
  • Contribute to Investment Committee discussions through objective analysis and thoughtful project evaluation.
  • Support investor relations efforts through organized, accurate, and professional communication.
  • Assist legal, finance, and accounting teams with compliance‑related matters and documentation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
