Wealth Management, Financial Advisor / Consultant
We're hiring a Wealth Advisor on behalf of our client—a growing, relationship-driven wealth management firm based in the Indianapolis, IN area. This role is built for a driven advisor who is ready to take ownership of an established book of 50 to 100 client relationships. This is a rare opportunity to step into a collaborative, tight-knit team, inherit high-quality client relationships, and build a long-term career with a firm that is actively investing in its next chapter—including a brand-new office opening this fall.
CoreResponsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for an existing book of 50 to 100 client relationships, gradually becoming the face of those relationships over time
- Manage day-to-day client needs, including planning questions, market concerns, and life-event conversations
- Deliver the firm's full wealth management process: investment consulting, advanced planning, and relationship management
- Build and maintain financial plans using Money Guide Pro
- Partner with outside professionals on tax planning, estate planning, wealth protection, and charitable giving strategies
- Collaborate with internal team members to deliver a seamless, high-touch client experience
- Support organic growth of the book through excellent service, resulting in asset consolidation and referrals (new business development is not required)
- Maintain compliance with firm processes and industry standards
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-first culture rather than operating as an independent producer
- 4 + years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a client-facing advisory capacity
- Series 65 and/or Series 66 licensing required (or equivalent); insurance license a plus
- CFP designation preferred but not required
- Background from an RIA, wirehouse, independent broker-dealer, or insurance-based platform all welcome
- Strong relationship-management and communication skills; comfortable serving as the primary point of contact for client relationships
- Team-oriented mindset—this role is built for someone who wants to be part of a tight-knit firm, not an independent "hired gun"
- Base salary of $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience
- Additional incentive compensation tied to net asset growth and client asset consolidation
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) plan with employer match
- Paid time off starting at 2 weeks and increasing with tenure
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Indianapolis, IN area, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our client's team is collaborative and tight-knit, values flexibility balanced with accountability, and is moving into a brand-new office suite this fall. Firm leadership is focused on long-term succession planning and is investing in developing the next generation of client-facing talent.
