TwoPointO Capital ("TPO") is a co-GP real estate private equity firm, originally founded in 2020 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Valeo Financial Advisors. TPO is responsible for the formation and management of private investment structures, including discretionary funds, co-GP arrangements, and joint ventures, on behalf of registered investment advisors, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutions.

TPO is hiring a Senior Associate to join its Portfolio Management team. The role will report directly to the VP of Portfolio Management and will be an integral part of the reporting, monitoring, and analysis of platform investments from inception through disposition. The role will work collaboratively with TPO’s investments team and correspond regularly with TPO’s platform sponsors regarding active investments.

As a part of TPO’s broader investment team, the role will also leverage performance and insights from active investments to help inform future investment pursuits. Finally, the role will assist TPO’s Investment and Valuation Committees, completing work that is ultimately reviewed by all stakeholders.

• Manage the collection, review, and organization of investment data used for periodic and ad hoc reporting from TPO’s sponsor partners and follow through with those partners on deadlines and data standards.
• Track asset performance against underwritten expectations and approved budgets to inform investment commentary shared either internally or externally throughout all stages of an investment time horizon.
• Manage the assembly and distribution of quarterly investment reports for all active TPO investments collectively with the VP of Portfolio Management, inclusive of the presentation of quantitative data and the preparation of qualitative investment updates.
• Oversee portfolio management work completed by TPO analysts.
• Understand elements of each investment’s capitalization, monitoring equity contributions/distributions and key components of outstanding loans (maturities, covenants, etc.)
• Work with the VP of Portfolio Management on the design, construction, and ongoing maintenance of TPO’s portfolio dashboard, including the architecture of the underlying database, the components of desired deliverables, and the resulting analyses conducted.
• Own the handoff of new investments from TPO’s investments team by collecting/organizing closing documents, defining an investment’s underwritten baseline, creating quarterly report templates, and establishing data collection standards with sponsor partners.
• Support TPO’s operations team in the distribution process by reviewing investment waterfalls, confirming preferred return calculations, and updating investor-facing systems when operating and capital event distributions occur.
• Understand the organizational structure of each TPO investment and key elements of governing entity documents.
• Draft periodic and ad hoc investment communications to be reviewed by TPO leadership for internal, sponsor, and investor use.
• Leverage active investment and portfolio-level data to provide actionable insights on future investment decisions for TPO’s investment team.
• Investigate and implement any potential automation of current manual processes for the portfolio management team.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Three to five years of real estate, financial services, banking, or private equity experience, ideally with a specific focus on asset management, portfolio management, accounting, equity structuring, underwriting, or fund administration.
