At Holly’s Haven Indy of Anchor of Hope Hospice, our volunteers are the heart of everything we do. We support individuals and families facing serious illness and end-of-life journeys by offering compassion, presence, and dignity- one meaningful connection at a time.

We are currently welcoming volunteers from all backgrounds who feel called to serve in ways that are human, heartfelt, and impactful. Whether you enjoy one-on-one connection, behind-the-scenes support, or group service experiences, there is a place for you here.

• Companionship Visits: Spending time with patients through conversation, reading, music, or simply being present
• Caregiver Support: Offering encouragement and respite to family members and caregivers
• Creative & Comfort-Based
  
  Activities:
  
  Art, music, journaling, legacy projects, and comforting presence
• Special Programs:
  • Animal Therapy support
  • Little Hands, Big Hearts (child and youth involvement initiatives)
  • Caregiver Pathways & healthcare career shadowing programs
  • Harvest of Hope (grocery deliveries to patients in need)
• Administrative & Operational Support: Helping behind the scenes with organization, outreach, and program support
• Corporate & Group Volunteer Days: Participating in team-based service projects and civic engagement initiatives
• Community Outreach & Events: Assisting with events, partnerships, and volunteer engagement efforts

• Individuals age 18+ with a compassionate heart
• Reliable, emotionally mature, and respectful of boundaries
• Comfortable supporting people during tender and meaningful moments
• No prior hospice or healthcare experience required - we provide training and support

• Thoughtful onboarding and orientation
• Ongoing training and mentorship
• Flexible scheduling based on your availability

• Letters of recommendation available
